Description

I wanted to make a picture from Mars on that day. Seeing was really fine! I looked at Mars through the scope and waited for a while that he comes up higher in the sky. I adopted the scope with camera, barlow etc. and lost Mars. What happend?? During my work on the scope higher layers of fog rolled in and Mars disappeared visually. I was able to locate Mars with exposure times of 1 sec/pic still on the screen. Seeing was still fine, so I decided to give it a try and made 1000 pic with 1 sec exposure time each. Sometime Mars disappeared, I had to adjust the gain value regularily to see Mars at least on the screen. This was than the final outcome from about 250 pic which i could processe in AS3!.

I am showing this picture to highlight, whats still possible under almost impossible conditions.

Not to mention how the picture would have looked like without the upcoming fog:-((
